With the spring tide surging, it is the perfect time to forge ahead. On February 6, Qingdao Hongda held the 2025 Lean Management Evaluation Competition. Honorary Director Wang Lixia, Senior Director Lü Ruizhang, Deputy General Manager Lu Xianghui, Deputy General Manager Wang Qi from Shenyang Hongda Huaming Qingdao Branch, and more than 30 lean management personnel from various functional departments and factories attended the conference.

As a pioneer in the textile machinery manufacturing industry, Qingdao Hongda has always taken lean management as a key driver to improve quality and efficiency, and forge core competitiveness. The company has formulated a three-step medium and long-term plan for lean production. 2025 marks an important milestone as lean management enters its second phase. This year, the company vigorously promoted 10 lean projects covering layout planning, production line adjustment, product improvement, logistics and warehousing optimization, among other dimensions. Three of these projects were selected as group lean improvement demonstration projects. After the preliminary selection, seven typical projects were showcased and evaluated in the competition. Each project team presented the innovative application and fruitful achievements of lean concepts in on-the-job practice through team introductions, background descriptions, current situation analyses, goal setting, and improvement plans.

At the start of the competition, Deputy General Manager Lu Xianghui delivered a mobilization speech. He pointed out that lean production is a core driving force deeply rooted in the enterprise's development genes. The first phase of the three-step plan has been successfully completed. The second phase will take "process improvement and standard implementation" as the core goal, comprehensively promote 11 major lean modules, improve working mechanisms, and strengthen team building. He called on all employees to maintain their enthusiasm for improvement and pursuit of excellence, so that lean culture can become the key code for the enterprise to cope with challenges and win the future.

During the project presentation session, each team took the stage to report in turn. The evaluation invited company leaders and relevant department heads to serve as judges, who conducted on-site reviews and scoring in accordance with the principles of fairness, impartiality, and openness. After intense competition and rigorous review, the competition selected the following awards:

First Prize

He hoped that after the competition, everyone would fully apply these practical improvement methods and pragmatic work ideas to daily work, focus on production pain points and difficulties, continuously eliminate ineffective labor, reduce production costs, improve production efficiency, consolidate product competitiveness through pragmatic lean practices, and help the company achieve steady development, quality improvement, and efficiency enhancement.
