Shine in Table Tennis, Excel in Badminton

With blooming flowers in May, youth strides toward brilliance. On May 11th, the "Zhengzhou Textile Machinery Cup" Table Tennis and Badminton Competition, organized by the Trade Union of China Hi‑Tech Group Corporation, kicked off grandly at Zhengzhou Guanghua Sports Center. The competition includes four events: men’s and women’s singles in table tennis and badminton. More than 70 table tennis and badminton enthusiasts from subsidiaries of China Hi‑Tech Group gathered here to exchange skills. Qingdao Hongda attached great importance to this event. Its Trade Union made elaborate arrangements and full preparations, selecting 7 elite players to form a representative team for all events. To enhance competitive skills and display a fine image, the Trade Union invited professional coaches for a one‑week special training camp. After work hours, the players trained diligently, polished their techniques, improved physical fitness, and prepared fully with high spirits.
During the two‑day competition, facing strong rivals from across the group, the players showed great courage, fought tenaciously, strived for excellence and surpassed themselves. With high morale and outstanding strength, they won numerous honors: Zhao Ziyunpeng from the Machinery Factory won the runner‑up of men’s singles in badminton; Wang Min from the Quality Department claimed the third place of women’s singles in table tennis; Xu Haiyan from the Technology Center ranked 5th in women’s singles in badminton; Fan Nina from the Machinery Factory ranked 6th in women’s singles in badminton.
Gather strength through competitions, nurture minds via sports. Qingdao Hongda will continue to care for employees’ physical and mental health, enrich cultural and sports activities, and encourage all staff to turn the spirit of unity, hard work and perseverance on the court into strong motivation for fulfilling duties at work.
