To address this pain point, the technicians took the initiative to explore and planned to independently improve the fixture to completely solve the problem.
Without additional investment, employees used scrapped fixtures and idle accessories, repeatedly grinding and debugging. Finally, a zero-cost improved balance cylinder assembly fixture was born: PLC program control, motor self-rotation, and dual-cylinder linkage for one-button clamping. What was once a process dependent on experience and feel has now become standardized, mechanized, and precise.
This small innovation has brought significant changes:
- First-pass assembly qualification rate jumped from 94% to 100%
- Assembly time per unit directly reduced by 48 minutes
- Annual cost savings of over 17,000 RMB
